ORLANDO, FL – February 22, 2026 – FEAR FILM Studios is thrilled to announce the completion of principal photography on “Meat the Cleaver,” the highly anticipated debut episode of its brand-new original series, CRYPT OF FEAR. Currently in the final editing stages, the series is gearing up for a promotional tour, officially kicking off this March at the MEGACON convention in Orlando, Florida.
Created by award-winning filmmaker Robert Massetti and award-winning actress Shannon Scott, CRYPT OF FEAR is a bloody, loving homage to the notorious Pre-Code horror comics of the 1950s. The series is designed to be scary, campy, and undeniably FUN.
Guiding viewers through the macabre madness is the show’s seductive and sinister host, CRYPTINA (played by Shannon Scott). Alongside her trusty black cat, SHADOW, CRYPTINA introduces each terrifying tale from her dark domain.
The inaugural episode, “Meat the Cleaver,” sets a delightfully wicked tone for the series. It tells the chilling story of a jealous wife who discovers her husband is having an affair with a gold-digging mistress—and decides to sever their ties permanently using a heavy-duty meat cleaver.
Fans of vintage horror and bloody good camp will be able to stream CRYPT OF FEAR exclusively on FEAR FILM Plus, the premier horror streaming platform from FEAR FILM Studios.
