FEAR COMICS: TALES OF TERROR” ENDS AS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ONGOING SERIES “MIDNIGHT AT MISERY MANOR” IS ANNOUNCED
ORLANDO, FL — June 16, 2026 — Fans of classic, atmospheric horror have a new permanent address to haunt. Today, FEAR COMICS announced a major shift in its publishing slate: the anthology horror series Tales of Terror will be closing its doors to make way for a brand-new, ongoing serialized comic book, Midnight at Misery Manor. While Tales of Terror delivered bite-sized nightmares to readers, the creative team realized that one specific world demanded a much larger canvas. “We loved the short, sharp shocks of the anthology format, but the lore we were building inside Misery Manor simply outgrew it,” said Robert Massetti/Creator. “We wanted to give readers a deep, continuous narrative. We aren’t just giving them a new monster every month anymore; we are inviting them to move into the haunted house and stay awhile.” Midnight at Misery Manor is a loving homage to the 1950s pulp horror and EC Comics style, heavily featuring classic gothic ink work, deep shadows, and cinematic dread. The ongoing series will focus on a sprawling, serialized narrative revolving around a decaying estate that serves as a supernatural prison, holding back a tide of demonic forces from the mortal realm. Key features of the upcoming Midnight at Misery Manor series include: Issue #1 begins with a terrifying, silent crawl through the dark corridors of the Manor, culminating in the striking of a massive, supernatural Clock Wall that awakens the Warden and sets the grand, terrifying plot into motion. Midnight at Misery Manor #1 will be available later this year or early next year. Follow us to keep updated.
